Traditional electrostatic rotary atomizer coating systems need to focus on improving the overall system’s paint utilization and the efficiency of coating production, as well as enhancing the uniformity of the surface coating for different positions of the product. Ransburg has introduced the RMB26 (Bell Type Coating Applicator with High Transfer Efficiency) through specially developed high-voltage control technology. RMB26 maintains excellent electrostatic performance even at proximity to the workpiece, achieving a stable and efficient painting rate. This helps customers reduce costs and minimize environmental impact.
CB curve
- The new high-speed control system (CB curve) in electrostatic coating, through specially developed high-voltage control technology, not only effectively prevents the occurrence of overcurrent phenomena but also maintains a stable and efficient paint application rate when the atomizer is close to the workpiece.
- Additionally, the built-in booster module design achieves rapid response to high voltage, ensuring uniform coating thickness on all parts of complex-shaped workpieces, thus avoiding the potential film thickness variations encountered in traditional spraying methods.
Conventional Coating and Proximity Coating can be Realized with a Single Bell
- The distance between the coating machine and the object to be coated can range from 50 mm to 250㎜ and depending on the shape of the object to be coated, either conventional coating or proximity coating can be selected.
- In the case of proximity coating, its theoretical coating efficiency is 100%. Actual coating efficiency for various shapes is expected to improve by 15% to 20% compared to conventional coating. (Ransburg laboratory results)
Supports various coating conditions
- RMB26 offers a metallic finish suitable for short-distance application. Its high transfer efficiency prevents the scattering of aluminum flakes in the metal paint, achieving a high-gloss finish.
- A wide variety of shaping air rings and bell cups are available to select an application pattern that meets the finish requirements.
